We’re into the final three months of Our World is Beautiful, and the standard of entries just keeps getting better. During March we received some truly stunning submissions from UK based photographers, making it as tricky as ever to select our monthly winner. In the end though, that accolade went to Tomas Donauskas, for his atmospheric black and white shot of the London skyline.

The River Thames – Tomas Donauskas

Taken in London, UK

River Thames
“This photo was taken from The London Eye ferris wheel on 5th December 2016. Image shows falling fog onto London city centre and the main river of London.”

Here are some of our other favourites from March – congratulations to all the photographers featured, and keep your pictures coming!

Señor Rafael – Miguel De Freitas

Taken in Trinidad, Cuba

Senor Rafael

“Rafael recently lost his horse, making life difficult for him as he is no longer able to sell his farmed tobacco in the town of Trinidad. In our attempt to get out of the sun and in the shade, he leaned up against the wall which presented this photo opportunity.”

Bubbles in Barcelona – Jane Collier

Taken in Barcelona, Spain

Bubbles in Barcelona

“Great street scene in Barcelona.”

“Don’t Do All The Talking, Let Love Speak Up Itself” – Will Anderson

Taken in Sheffield, UK

"Don't Do All The Talking, Let Love Speak Up Itself"

“Capturing the bliss, nightfall and the love for the city of Sheffield, summed up in one quote on the exit of the Seven Hills.”

Together – Michael Berwick

Taken in Hailsham, UK

Together

“This picture captures a love that stands the test of time. My parents on their 30th wedding anniversary in the garden that they built, the sun beaming down and their two dogs staring lovingly at them.”

Steps to Heaven – Tomas Donauskas

Taken in Palanga, Lithuania

Steps to heaven

“‘Steps to heaven’ or how to get to the radar. Photo was taken from beneath the upper part of radar antenna.”

Ladybird – Fabian Gergely

Taken in Szeged, Hungary

Ladybird

“A ladybug bunny ear.”
